ANAC momentum continues to be positive. During April, Arcadia University (3,400 students) and the University of Scranton (4,850 students)—both Pennsylvania institutions—accepted ANAC membership invitations. After a number of activities to commemorate our first ten years, ANAC enters its second decade with twenty-three members, our largest membership in history. In March the ANAC CFO benchmarking conference at the University of Redlands and chief student affairs officer meeting at NASPA were well-attended. On April 2, Jerry Berberet presented the results of the ANAC survey of late career faculty at the AGB national conference. (See related stories and pictures in this Bulletin issue.)
Upcoming, member team registrations are brisk for the 2006 ANAC Summer Institute at North Central College, June 14-16. Members are asked to register their teams as soon in May as possible (registration form link on www.anac.org homepage). Affinity group meetings in the coming weeks:
- May 22 — ANACSA meeting of member study abroad directors in Montreal in association with the annual NAFSA conference.
- June 14 — Member presidents (Presidents Council) and institutional representatives (IReps) will meet at North Central just prior to the Institute.
- July 8 — ANAC member CFOs will hold their summer meeting in connection with the annual NACUBO conference in Honolulu.
