| Valparaiso University — Preparing Students to Lead and Serve |
 |
| Standing together at the center of campus, the Chapel of the Resurrection and the Christopher Center for Library and Information Resources express Valparaiso University’s belief in the creative relationship between faith and learning. Faith, ethical character and a sense of vocation are nurtured in a community constituted by people of various beliefs and backgrounds. Valpo students, faculty, staff and alumni are highly engaged in serving not only the campus and Valparaiso community, but in places around the world. Examples of this service include assisting a Tanzanian village in repairing a failing canal system, providing health services to families in Central American nations and rebuilding homes in Gulf Coast communities destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. |
