Founded in 1883, Stetson University’s vision combines traditional strengths with cutting-edge strategies for success. Four colleges and schools—the College of Arts & Sciences, School of Business Administration, School of Music and College of Law—span Central Florida on two campuses and two centers serving 3,700 students. Stetson consistently earns high national rankings and was the first private university in Florida to achieve membership in Phi Beta Kappa. |

Stetson’s advocacy and legal writing programs are ranked among the best in the nation, and students donate more than 19,000 hours of public service annually to more than 150 organizations. |

Stetson’s beautiful 155-acre historic campus in DeLand, Fla., includes millions of dollars worth of new projects – a science center, art center, high-tech classroom upgrades, environmental learning center and major landscaping renewal. Other locations include the College of Law in Gulfport/St. Petersburg and Tampa and the Stetson University Center at Celebration near Disney World. |

Stetson’s athletics offer competition from intramurals to club sports to NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics. Club sports include Surfing (Daytona Beach is 25 minutes from campus), Equestrian, Shooting, Skydiving and the traditional sports. The Hatters have 15 intercollegiate sports, and Hatter Football (Pioneer League) and Division I Lacrosse (W) and Sand Volleyball are now being added. |

The joy of learning about other cultures and languages, experiencing new environments and enhancement of career prospects are available through Stetson’s study abroad programs. Stetson’s programs include: Avignon, Freiburg, Hong Kong, Moscow, Madrid, Oxford, Edinburgh, Innsbruck, Japan and China. Short courses are also offered in other countries, as well. |
